"The Rat of Wall Street" is a bronze sculpture which mimics the pose of the famous "Charging Bull" sculpture on Wall Street, using a more location-appropriate animal. It was created in collaboration with my fiancée Mary Chimenti for the 2025 “NYCxSouvenir” show during the 2025 NYCxDesign festival, and was on display in The Oculus for the duration of the show.
The rat was meticulously sculpted in ZBrush using a low-res base template of the bull, which was in turn created via AI using a photo of the original “Charging Bull” sculpture. It was prototyped via 3D printing and then cast in bronze at a foundry in Shandong, China.
