Experience

frog designMay 2010 - Present

Mechanical Engineer (Level II 2010 - 2014, Senior 2014 - Present) in the NYC studio at frog, "a global strategy and design firm." I have been the lead engineer on most NY led ME projects since 2010 and work on all stages of projects from concept/ideation/research to tool-ready part design and production support. frog is a place where people often work outside their job titles, and I personally like to dabble as much as I can in the design and strategy arenas.

Object Three2013

Myself, my brother, and a close friend founded a company and successfully funded a kickstarter for a multitool keychain. I was responsible for design/engineering of the tool, sourcing, and managing manufacturing for our production run of 400, setting up the campaign, and designing the packaging.

Smart Design - December 2009 - May 2010

I worked in the NYC studio as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. I was involved in various design engineering tasks including ideation, prototyping, and tool ready mechanical design for several OXO products.

Freelance - May 2009 - December 2009

During this time I worked on several freelance projects as I transitioned from MA to NYC. Clients included k-tor and Flo Design Wind and encompassed mechanical engineering, industrial design, prototyping and vendor communication.

Page Product Design - August 2007 - May 2009

I was a Design Engineer in Page's Massachusetts studio. Page was a small company of less than 10 employees and I worked on an assortment of projects in all manner of tasks. We hand built functional folding snowshoes, performed dynamic analysis of impacts on implantable medical devices, and brainstormed methods of constructing wind turbine towers, among many others.
